Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-23-16  WickedPawn: A chess column from the late 80's in my local newspaper analyzing GM Sunye Neto's game below is what got me into chess. It was a Christmas day I remember.

J Sunye Neto vs Kasparov, 1981

Mar-23-16  offramp: Black's rook from a8 has long but pointless journey.
Mar-23-16  Razgriz: I think he should have tried to place the a8 Rook in the Kingside to help defend against the impeding push - but even that was easier said than done.
Mar-23-16  LivBlockade: I recently submitted the same pun for the game Spassky vs J Sunye Neto, 1986
Mar-23-16  Underworld: It looks like black possibly messed up his move order with 10...b5 as it creates an immediate weakness that encourages the strong attack by white. Everything after that was good technique by white and even more blunders by black.
Mar-23-16  ossipossi: Yes <10...b5> is horrible. Black has three pieces controlling e5 and White plays e5: there must be something wrong.

kevin86: A case of two dogs chasing one squirrel already trapped in a corner. Sadly, the squirrel is a goner :(

thegoodanarchist: a weak game by mediocre players. The marginally OK pun does not elevate this junk to GOTD status.
