  Dijon15: On his 26th move, White goes from the frying pan into the fire. Perhaps he saw only the Knight check, and not the Queen sacrifice!

BTW, Yudovich was the co-author (with Kotov) of The Soviet School of Chess [English editions: 1958,1961]. The 1961 Dover edition sold for $2.
