  Honza Cervenka: In comparison to Smyslov vs Botvinnik, 1954 white's 13.c4 is definitely worse than Smyslov's 13.Qd6. White was quickly outplayed after that, and got a lost game but in move 20 black lost the thread playing 20...Qa5+? instead of simple 20...Qxc2, and in a wild position white managed to turn the table and won in the end.

Yes, White is completely lost after this. He can try 21.Ra1 but after the clever 21...Rc6 there's no way out (the threat of Rxd5 is devastating). It does strike me as fairly odd that these modern, young GMs often can't detect these basic tactic motifs.
