Apr-09-10  sfm: What was planned on 10.exd5 ? (instead of 10.e5)

Gilmoy: <sfm: 10.exd5> Na5 looks sufficient. Black's capture-chain is threatening <both> White Bs, so 11.b4? Nxc4 maintains the <mutual threat>, and White is down a clear piece. After the Bc4 moves or gets captured, Black has Nxd5, which <again> pokes the lose Be3.

White has so many pieces hanging that she never has a tempo for any fork or discovery threats. Black alertly jumped on exactly that weakness with great energy, and won space, open lines, and better outposts.
