Nov-27-17  woldsman: A very sharp encounter in the Exchange Grunfeld. Shishkin could have held with 21..h5! (21..h6? 23 dc!) 22 h3 Be2 23 Re1 Bd3 24 Nc5 Bf8!

Black could also resist with the computer-find 22..Nd6! (backwards knight move, preventing Spassky from establishing a K-side pawn roller) 23 d5 h5 24 Rg3 Ne4 25 Bf4 Ng3: 26 hg: b5 with counter-play.
