Aug-09-09  sneaky pete: Every Prussian schoolboy knows that this game is really Von Minckwitz vs Gunsberg, 1889, from round 11 of the Breslau congress, with the last 25 moves missing.

Black had deviated with 12... Bxd2+ 4 years earlier: J Minckwitz vs Gunsberg, 1885

Phony Benoni: <sneaky pete> Think a bad Burn file might have been downloaded? The other game you mentioned today (Burn vs Burille, 1889) has a very close game ID# (1035905). I checked a few games in the range, and all involved Burn. It may not be a bad idea to check everything in this area.

By the way, the actual game Burn vs J N Berger, 1887 (Game ID# 1035864) ended after 39 moves, so maybe that explains the "25 missing moves".
