Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-06-10  Ulhumbrus: 2...Nc6 obstructs the c7 pawn but will free the c7 pawn later by going to e7. Moving Black's QN a second time does cost a tempo for development.

Instead of 14 Qb6, 14 Na4 heads for c5, and I think that a commentator who was with Andrew Martin on the official website recommended this manoeuvre.

Aug-06-10  Alphastar: 2. ..Nc6 is simply the Chigorin defense, a respectable alternative to the more worn out main defenses to 1. d4.
Aug-08-10  mick the mater: An interesting game. 24-- Rxf3 is a good move over the board but it seems that instead of 26 Ne5? white is OK after Ne1. Also 27 f4? when simply Nd3 is fine. 33 Qg6 is the final error, Qc7 looks better.I do like this defence.
