Nightsurfer: This is the stem game of the entertaining BUSCH-GASS Gambit that the German E. Busch has first introduced into tournament chess in 1906. 66 years later the matrix of this gambit has been re-invented by German lawyer Ulrich Gass, please see C Schulz vs U Gass, 1972 , therefore the gambit is called "BUSCH-GASS"-Gambit today. The BUSCH-GASS Gambit is nothing for timid souls, and sometimes it works - as the two stem games from 1906 and 1972 do demonstrate ... but sometimes the BUSCH-GASS Gambit fails as well, one striking example is R Gralla vs Massoud Amini, 2010 !

  Chessical: <5. d4!> Qxe4+ 6. Be3 Bb4+ (or 6... Bb6 7. Nc3 Qe7 8. Bc4) 7. Nbd2 Bxd2+ 8. Qxd2 Nf6; seems to leave White with the better game.
