Aronian misses 25...Bxg2+ at 19:10:18, possibly because the Queen had earlier been at g5 only threatening g2.

But 24...Qg5 threatens both g2 pawn and e3 rook, so the Queen is overworked.

25 Re2 looks reasonable.
