HeMateMe: I wonder why black didn't capture with 38...Nxd5?
Dec-05-10  Dr. Funkenstein: Why not 40. Nc5?, then again d7 must have been a good move as black resigned.
Dec-05-10  Jamboree: I think the final three moves of the game must be screwed up somehow. 38. ... e4? is way worse than simply 38. ... Nxd5. Then 40. d7? is vastly inferior to 40. Nc5. I have a suspicion the moves got jumbled up somehow.

White is going to win in all lines anyway due to the two extra connected passed K-side pawns, but still...

Dec-30-10  ReikiMaster: 17...Bxc3 18.bxc3 Nhf6 slows down white but gives up Bishop pair. 25...Rxe2 26.Qxe2 Bxh6 27.Qxh5 also gives white some advantage. Now 28.Nf4 Re5 29.Ne6+ wins.
