OhioChessFan: Nguyen you going to capture my Bishop?
Mar-11-13  Abdel Irada: Inferably there's a problem with the score. Most probably, the move-pair 5. ...Bxc3 6. bxc3 was omitted.

Even allowing for this correction, I'm surprised by the draw. Black has the maneuver ...Na5-c4 to play for, and if White tries to stop this with Nd2, then the ...c5 break in conjunction with ...Rc8 and a timely exchange on d4 offers queenside counterplay. Surely the players called it quits rather prematurely?

FSR: <Abdel Irada> As Roman Dzindzichashvili once facetiously remarked of the complicated King's Indian position in which my friend Albert Chow and I had just agreed to a draw, "Obviously a draw."

AylerKupp: I like the temporizing maneuver 5.a3 followed by 10.a4 to prevent Black's DSB from capturing the pawn en passant. I wonder if I can try it in my next game?
