perfidious: Black's play in this game looks suspect; possibly he intended to improve upon M Sebag vs E Paehtz, 2009, but his kingside becomes dangerously exposed and he's soon forced to concede his dark-squared bishop for knight, while the White attack carries on without let or hindrance.
Jun-27-11  kingfu: Excellent, perfidious.

Black in The French must always stay neutral. by this I mean that Black must be able to castle away from the attack. The attack is usually on the King Side.

White will almost always have the pawn on e5. Black playing f6 can off set that move. However, then Black has the light squared Bishop supporting pawns at e6 and d5.

Maybe Karpov was right.

  perfidious: <<DiscoJerk>: Well aren't you two cute.>

As we say in poker, don't give up your day job.

If you've nothing worthwhile to contribute, why waste some of the time you claim you don't have posting this dross?

Jul-05-11  kingfu: Definition of dross:

The garbage left over when electronic circuit boards are properly soldered.

We rest our case.

And Black, in The French, must be very careful in Castling.

And , yes, I am cute, only if you are a Koala Bear.

Jul-09-11  kingfu: Black does 0-0. And then he eats the big d!*k.

Be careful where you Castle in The French. It is Outcomes based Chess.

Jul-28-11  DiscoJew: Ha! Surely you kid, for I have contributed much; its called comedy, and I certainly got the joke!
