Sep-26-11  jmboutiere: After Kd3 0.05 (Rybka)
Sep-26-11  lost in space: hmmmm, Nc5-d3-f4 seems to be the plan. But why is the knight of f4 better than on c5? And what to do after 18....Nd5? For me Black is equal or very very close to equal.
Sep-26-11  talisman: <lost> you're right.. i mean white's got nothing...b4 do anything?
Sep-26-11  jmboutiere: 19.Kf4 was played.
Sep-26-11  jmboutiere: After exchanging khights and B c5 black seems to be a little better.
Sep-26-11  Ulhumbrus: 19 Bd4 hinders the development of Black's KB as 19..Be7 invites 20 e6 and on 19...Be6 20 Nc5 Bxc5 21 Bxc5 White has the better of it. However on 19 Bd4 Be7 20 e6 f6 the e6 pawn may become a target.

If White does not get enough from threats based upon the pawn advance e6, an alternative plan is to free his f pawn to advance by 19 Nd4

Sep-26-11  lost in space: After 19. Nf4 (played) 19...Nxf4 20. Bxf4 Black is already a bit better. Yes, he is a bit behind in development and he will have to fuzzle around to get Rh8 activated....but now he has the 2 bishops and both are ready to rule the game.
Sep-26-11  talisman: <lost> just said it...black's other bishop sooner or later gets to e6 and them 2 bad boys are looking bad.
Sep-26-11  jmboutiere: With the advantage of time and a superior position, I hope Carlsen will win.
Sep-26-11  hms123: whychess gives 19...Nxf4 20. Bxf4 Be7
Sep-26-11  talisman: c5 or g5 take your pick.
Sep-26-11  virginmind: <jmboutiere> It's Nf4, not Kf4
Sep-26-11  lost in space: Most probly either 21...c5 or 21...Bc5, I guess.
Sep-26-11  talisman: exchange that bishop and get opposite colors for a draw if your white
Sep-26-11  Marmot PFL: Almost take a miracle for either of these players to lose from here.
Sep-26-11  talisman: what does e6 do?
Sep-26-11  lost in space: <talisman> and I seems to agree about the next moves at least halfway all over the game?!

<c5 or g5 take your pick.>

Sep-26-11  Ulhumbrus: 22 g4 keeps Black's QB out of f5 in case Black tries ...Bxd4

ketchuplover: Even I could last 4 more moves!
Sep-26-11  lost in space: 22. e6 Bxe6 23. Nxe6 fxe6 24. Bxc7 Rf8 and I think it is close to a draw offer.
Sep-26-11  Strongest Force: I wish they would say draw so we can get a real game on here
Sep-26-11  Ulhumbrus: Does the exchange 21...Bxd4 lead to a technical draw or a technical win for White? White's King side pawn majority has not yet lost all of its value. My present guess is that it will draw with best play, but may lose if Black makes a mistake somewhere.
Sep-26-11  beenthere240: White's winning chances depend on the pawn structure staying intact until all the pieces are gone.
Sep-26-11  talisman: <anybody> why not c5 there? why the king?
Sep-26-11  lost in space: With BOC and the chance for Black to play Rd8 I see no way for White to win this
