whiteshark: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...
Dec-09-11  Marmot PFL: Next I guess they trade the LSBs then eventually reach a draw. White's initiative seems to peter out which means 17 nxd4 was likely the only winning try.
Dec-09-11  talisman: Psst. the one on the right Luke.
Dec-09-11  Marmot PFL: 16 Nxd4 last message
Dec-09-11  Strongest Force: Looks DEAD even
Dec-09-11  waustad: Perhaps Mme Defarge will knit something to tell the next move.
Dec-09-11  Strongest Force: If either one lose now he should be spanked with a wooden chess board
Dec-09-11  lost in space: maybe not dead even, but even. I see a white initiative, so far not enough for something concrete.

Rb1 is better compared to Ra8. Nd4 is better comparedNe7 and Bf1 is a bit less active compared to Bd5. But the time is very much in favor of Black, So I think from a particle point of view White has be happy to draw this.

Dec-09-11  haydn20: Magnus will finally be showing up at the commentary--or so they say.
Dec-09-11  Strongest Force: White does have q-side pressure....Nak may bend a little but shouldn't break

Dec-09-11  talisman: <Xerrox> very slight pull for white
Dec-09-11  talisman: pawn takes, knight takes...♗g2??
Dec-09-11  Marmot PFL: Could have all draws today. Thats what happens when Carlsen isn't playing.
