fredthebear: Rather unusual start with 6.c3, 7.c4, 8.c5 hitting Black's dark-squared bishop. The advanced c-pawn is soon lost, but that is the result of it's d-pawn defender capturing 9.dxe5. The doubled e-pawn comes in handy for White, gaining the exchange after 33.NxRe6. Black has a queenside pawn majority, but his kingside attack is not only repelled, the pawns are stripped clean there. Black's knights backtrack and cannot find an ideal square.
