Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-10-12  Jim Bartle: If your rating is 2100 and you're matched in a tournament with a 2600, a loss has to be expected. It must be awfully disappointing to blow your big chance by losing in 20 moves with white, though.
Mar-10-12  King Death: <Jim Bartle> That's a pretty good description of my first game with Larry Christiansen back in about 1975. Sunk without a trace.
Mar-10-12  Jim Bartle: Don't feel bad. You probably lasted longer against Christiansen than his opponent in Christiansen vs Karpov, 1993
