Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-07-12  master of defence: Why not 47.Rh2 or 49.Rh2 threatening Rxg4?
Jul-07-12  Shams: If 47.Rh2 c5 and Black is winning a pawn of his own.
Jul-07-12  master of defence: No, <Shams>, White has 48.bxc5 Bxc5 49.dxc5 R(any)xd2 50.Rxd2 Rxd2 51.Rxg4.
Jul-07-12  Shams: Yes, by "winning a pawn of his own" I didn't mean Black was winning material, just that he is also taking a pawn to offset losing the g4-pawn. The answer to your initial question is: 47.Rh2 doesn't appear to lead anywhere.
Jul-07-12  master of defence: Hey Shams, answer my question too in the game of the day.
