Oct-28-12  Caissanist: This has to get the pairing of the year award. After flying over 6,000 miles to do battle with the best players in Europe, Jorge and Deysi must have been thrilled to be playing each other.

Phony Benoni: <Definitiion of the Swiss System>:

An infallable method of making sure that two players who traveled to the tournament together will be paired at some point. This can occur in any round except the last one.

Oct-06-14  Tartalacreme: 14.Nxh8+ picks a rook with check and 11. ... Rb8 does not make sense. I'm sure 11. ... Rg8 was actually played.

Domdaniel: <Tartalacreme> I think you may be right. I can see no reason not to take the Rook on h8.
