HeMateMe: black better hit the books. The Sicilian is well researched past the point where she hit the rocks.

Gilmoy: <HeMateMe: black better hit the books.> She's (only) a 2384. I'm sure she knows that.

That's like throwing a high school JV QB against an NFL defense, and saying "he better improve his reads".

She's 14.1 years old. Chucky has been playing Sicilian since before her parents were dating. (It is possible that he's older than both of her parents.)

1.5/14 means she wasn't invited on merit of strength. It was a reward for having wiped the floor with her own age group. Heck, it might be the last chance in her lifetime to play a tournament game vs. Karpov in <his> lifetime. (Chucky was thinking the same thing ...)

HeMateMe: <Gilmoy> Don't be so serious. Of course I'm just kidding. They wouldn't be there if they couldn't play.
Nov-20-12  Sem: Go Gilmoy!
