Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-08-13  Balmo: 27.Rxd5!! Nice move - if Rxf4 then Rd8+, Kh7, 29. Ng5+ Kh6 30. exf4! and black has no defence from the mate on h8.
Feb-08-13  lost in space: unbelievable that Naiditsch won that. The position was even, sometimes I had the impression Black was slightly better.

Excellent game, and good that the brave to go on was rewarded

Feb-08-13  mrbasso: Actually both tried to win this game. Adams later felt he was getting outplayed and tried to bail out with Rxf3 but it didn't work. 55...a4 56.Nh4 Rf5! is a draw.
Feb-08-13  King Radio: Fantastic game. Shame either player had to lose.

HeMateMe: A lot of subtle maneuvering here.
Feb-09-13  messachess: <Balmo> Good seeing! I didn't see exf4 at first. Great combination.
Feb-09-13  tivrfoa: very nice game
Feb-09-13  Balmo: Thanks messachess, I very much doubt I'd have seen the combination on move 27 though! Nice game from Naiditsch, Adams is a very tough player to beat.
