Oct-28-15 | | consul: I don't see how to finish this game in few moves... But I'd have resigned earlier considering the material unbalance. I'd have played 39. ♕xh5, and still think White's losing. |

|
Oct-28-15 | | rickycota: I don't know if all moves are good for black but this is one of the most entertaining games I've seen. Really great queen sacrifice (apparently). |

 | | thegoodanarchist: I never liked the "Got Milk?" add campaign and so I don't like this pun. Mammals get weened and then stop drinking milk, humans in the United States and a few other primitives being the exception. Just as many folks are living in the past when it comes to gay marriage, the age of the eath, not selling liquor on Sundays, climate change and other issues, so too are many still drinking milk after age 2 years. Stop drinking milk! |

Oct-28-15 | | Nova: A refreshing game, in my opinion. Black's coordinated pieces, and even the 'dim' knight on h5, play well together. I especially liked the moment when White plays 25. Na4, almost poking a jab at Black saying 'Ha! My Rc1 is en prise but you must move your attacked Qb6 first!!' And then Black smirks and says 'My dear boy, I'll see your bet and raise you!' as he takes the Rc1 anyways. To me, it is those positions in which you don't bend to your opponent's wishes (AND can prove your reasoning) that separates the players that do well and those that don't. Obviously, practice is the key! |

Oct-28-15 | | CountryGirl: I agree it seems weird, thegoodanarchist, but how else to get your calcium requirements? Isn't it necessary to absorb enough calcium from somewhere to avoid the worst of osteoporosis, or weak bones, as we get older? |

Isn't it necessary to absorb enough calcium from somewhere to avoid the worst of osteoporosis, or weak bones, as we get older?> White beans, sardines (get the ones with the skin and bones), kale (and many other greens such as turnip greens, collard greens & seaweed), figs, bok choy, black eyed peas, broccoli, broccoli rabe, edamame, oranges, almonds and okra are just some of the many non-dairy foods that are naturally high in calcium |

Edamame are soy beans. |

Oct-29-15 | | Shams: <tga> There is a huge difference between breastfeeding until you're four years old on the one hand and drinking the milk of a different animal throughout your life on the other hand*. Long periods of breastfeeding are a practical necessity in much of the world, where dirty water leads to diarrhea which is a huge killer. Therefore the mother uses her body to filter the water so her kids are safer. ------
*An issue I agree with you on. |
