Kibitzer's Corner
May-27-13  Illogic: Bacrot looked a bit taken aback in the press conference when Morozevich demonstrated the winning idea that Bacrot missed starting with 66. Kd4 using the king to protect the b-pawn.

Morozevich felt he had winning chances but made a mistake trading rooks in the endgame because he hadn't seen Bacrot's 61. h4!

May-27-13  Marmot PFL: 66 Rb8? h3 67 b6 Nc4 68 b7 Ke6 and now if 69 Rh8 Nd6+ or 69 Rd6 h2 70 b8(Q) h1(Q)+. In both cases checks save black, which might be what white overlooked.

Bacrot's way of saying, "let's go to the bar.."

Phony Benoni: Strange sort of Crazy Rook draw by lack of mating material rather than stalemate.
