Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-27-13  Jigsaw42: Horrible play by black, starting from move 38
Jun-28-13  Nerwal: The position after 33. ♘g5 is completely lost for black; pawn down, f7 is terminally ill and black cannot move any of her pieces in an effective way. White realized this and decided to play some innocuous moves to reach time control, as both players were in time trouble. Black realized too that her position was hopeless and that white was just intending to wait til move 41. So she went to provoke a crisis before time control with the ugly looking and desperate 38... ♕b2. But that was not worse than sitting and waiting to get killed.
