Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-22-14  zanzibar: Richter-Rauzer had a hell of a time for Black in this tournament, especially the 6...e6 branch.

But you can't really blame the opening here, Black voluntarily choose to castle into a defensible but somewhat precarious K-side. The time to play ...Rg8 was with the king in the center (19...Rg8 or even better 19...Rc8 instead of 19...O-O would have been my preference).

The position at the end could make for a couple of nice tacticals, so it's worth a diagram:

(After 23...Rg8? 24.Nxf6!)

(24...Black resigns)

Nice, and instructive, Q+B coordination wins if Black unwisely takes one or the other sacrifice.
