Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-19-14  Drakulo: It is noteworthy that this game between very strong engines is so far the only instance of 9...cxd4 in the database, being 9.Nb5 already very rare after the whole opening book scenario. This crazy variation is apparently a favorite among strong engines in general (also Rybka 4). Black gives up a rook for a strong center and attack on the white king. Human replies to 9.Nb5 are usually a6 or Nc6, clearing safe squares for the rook, in which case white intends Nd6 and c3 to support the center.
