eternaloptimist: There was nothing wrong w/ androsov playing 13.♙g4 & allowing GM burmakin to open up the h-file by 15...♙h5 & 16...♙hxg4. In fact androsov (who has a 2059 rating) was doing very well to hang w/ a GM (rated 2568) as long as he did. He didn't lose the thread of the game until 39.♙c4??. He should've played 39.♖g2 & if 39...♖b1, then 40.♔e3 & androsov's ♖ is guarding his ♙s on b2 & g3. He might could've gotten a draw then. Burmakin didn't do anything fancy in this game. He merely exercised patience & took advantage of androsov's mistakes.
