Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-11-14  Marmot PFL: The Group B favorite runs into the Stonewall.
Jan-11-14  parisattack: Nicely played by <Reinderman> - opting Dutch after the passive 3. a3.

I always worry about the d5 shot by white before black has played ...d5. But black gets too active quickly with 5. ...Ba6.

Jan-12-14  stanleys: <parisattack> 3.a3 is a normal move in this line, preventing the ideas with ...Bb4
Jan-12-14  parisattack: Seems very passive to me, not testing.

King does give it a chapter (6) in his English Defence but half-dozen other 1. ...b6/English Defence books hardly mention it. Yet the CG.com Opening Explorer shows it the first choice these days.

Jan-13-14  notyetagm: R Wojtaszek vs D Reinderman, 2014

I hate it when people play strange openings like this.
