Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-11-14  Everett: We have basically a reverse-fianchetto KID by move 20.
Apr-11-14  CountryGirl: Jobava is a brave player, willing to experiment even against very strong opponents. Here he beats Svidler AND Kamsky with this passive looking opening, 3.Be2, attaining a Spanish-looking opening and just outplaying them. Added to his win with black vs Jakovenko this will surely win him some ratings points.
Apr-11-14  Nezhmetdinov: Jobava's play on the Q-side in this game makes a fine impression; from move 15 his pieces funnel over there before a few of them drift back to repel Svidler's rather desperate attack.
Apr-12-14  Garech: A great duel and a very aesthetic game. Well played Jobava!
