Apr-15-14  Anderssen61: This was a game I played against a real, unnamed opponent on 04/11/2014. Black should have won this game on his/her superior material advantage, but there was a definite psychology involved. He couldn't stop himself from attacking long enough to make a simple defensive move of advancing a pawn with 23....c5, something that would have stymied white's attack. As it was, I knowingly and willingly sacrificed my knight, then my bishop, and then finally my queen and won a game where my opponent made no glaring errors (my definition of a glaring error would be to mistakenly move a piece into an unprotected position). How many games can one say that? Tactical errors by black? Certainly so. But I think that most will find this a fun game to review, and I'm glad you found it. If nothing else it's an abject lesson to keep your bloodlust in check----less you will find yourself check....mated!!-----Thomas C. Webster
Apr-15-14  Anderssen61: That's 23....c4. Sorry about that!
Apr-16-14  GumboGambit: Thanks for sharing. But shouldnt black be NN as opposed to computer/IPhone? Siri sounds like a confident woman, but I just dont see her putting out her Queen that early ;)
Apr-16-14  Anderssen61: Haha. I submitted the game with the alias' that both payers used in the app. I thought NN was going to be used as well. They might amend black to NN.
