ChessCoachClark: This game makes for two demonstrations of the Royal Skewer (an Absolute Pin on the Queen). One is nearly the end of the game, where the White Queen has a Royal Skewer after the Black Queen makes a self-pin. The other comes in an alternate line: 55. ... Kg7 56. Bd4. Further, the continuation features a Deflection (Removing the Defender) tactic that pushes the King away from the Black Queen, so she is lost. Amazing proof of the Bobby Fischer adage: "Tactics flow from a positionally superior game."
