This game is from the 16th Chess Olympiad held at Tel Aviv (Israel) and played on 14th November 1964, in the 2nd round of the D-Final, on Board 1, between Australia and South Africa.

In the D-Final Koshnitsky played in three out of the seven games scoring 1½/3 which included the above win.

That effort contributed to Australia coming 1st in the D-Final ahead of South Africa.
