Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-16-14  Karpova: <Mr. Folkert Hicken was a resident of Philadelphia in the late sixties. Afterwards he became an Austrian Vice-Consul in Australia.>

The move is not annotated, but 6.Be2 is the decisive mistake. Perhaps 6.d4 was better.

After 18.Qxf5, Huch announced mate in 8. The annotator gives <18...Qxe3+ 19.Kc4 Qc3+ 20.Kxd5 Rd8+ 21.Qd7 Rxd7+ 22.Ke4 Qxd4+ 23.Kf5 g6+ 24.Kg5 h6+ 25.Kxh6> 25...Qh4+ 26.Bh5 Qxh5#.
