Jan-27-15  Severin: I always knew d3 was the best opening move.

tamar: 1 d3! this isn't Baadur in disguise is it?

By move 15 white has almost equalized :)

Jan-27-15  Maatalkko: 25...Nd3?? was a massively flawed tactic. It looks like Black lazily assumed 28. Rxe1 was forced, overlooking that after 28. Ne3 his Knight is trapped. Strange oversight for a nearly 2700 player.

Was this perhaps a touch move mistake? If Black grabbed his Knight too quickly, there was no other option.

PhilFeeley: Congrats to Galmandakh for his scalp to a GM norm!

  Gilmoy: Bishop pawns before knights!
Jan-28-15  Tartalacreme: What can black play if not 25. ... Nd3?

25. ... Kf6?? 26.Nxf5 Kxf5 27.Be4+ wins

25. ... Nxd5?? 26.Nxf5+ Kf6 27.Ng3 and black loses the pinned knight

25. ... Bg6 26.Rxe5+ wins a pawn

25. ... Bc2 26.Rxe5+ Kf6 27.Re6+

It looks like 25. ... Nd3 was the best chance in a difficult position.
