HeMateMe: Mr. D showed pretty good D, holding out for 67 moves against world champion Hou.
Jan-31-15  rainingpieces: 46..Qe7 was a neat move.

  FSR: I can't believe that didn't follow up yesterday's <Morbidly Kobese> with my equally tasteless suggestion of <Fat as a Pigg> for R Kichinski vs C Pigg, 1988.
Premium Chessgames Member
perfidious: <FSR> One helluva nerve they have, I tell ya!

Tastelessness should be compounded with yet more--no use dabbling in half measures.

Premium Chessgames Member
FSR: <perfidious> Exactly! I'm glad that <someone> understands.

OhioChessFan: They apparently changed it. I suggested they delete the associated comments.

FSR: <OCF> Thanks. Yes, I just noticed that.
Feb-06-15  capablancakarpov: At move 44, Hou Yifan missed the pretty ...Rb1! 45.Nxf5 Rxe1+ 46.Kh2 Be5+ 47.Qxe5 Rxe5 winning easily
Feb-06-15  morfishine: <capablancakarpov> Nice!
Feb-06-15  N0B0DY: Hou, are you going to join us for DAS?
Premium Chessgames Member
tamar: Or, "Arrgghh! I lost to a girl."

Annie K.: I figured I had better get in a tolerable pun for this game before somebody decides to title it "Argh, ya dip". :s ;p

Although my original version was 'Das, Hou Must Go On'... :)

  Sneaky: Das Booted

Gilmoy: But then it should end in a perpetual, no? Pun bone not connected to result bone ...
Premium Chessgames Member
Annie K.: Well, my version of the pun refers to Hou's a-file passer being unstoppable.

Perhaps the modified version means the game deserved a GOTD spot.

There's often more than one way to interpret puns.

Feb-06-15  Cheapo by the Dozen: <Annie K>,

I that's pretty much a pun's defining characteristic. :)
