Kibitzer's Corner
May-01-19  sneaky pete: Black must be Kurt Paul Otto Joseph Richter judging from the tricky play. The only (other) 1929 Kurt Richter game in this database is also from Duisburg (29th DSB Congress).
May-01-19  Gejewe: <sneaky pete> You are right. The game was played in Duisburg on July 17 in 1929 between H. Foerder and Kurt Richter, as can be found in the recent biography "Kurt Richter" by Alan McGowan (page 48). McGowan mentions several sources of which I was able to check Brinckmann's "Kurt Richter's beste Partien" (1961) where I found the game on page 41. And on the Yosef Porat page we can see that his name was Heinz Foerder which he changed when he moved to Palestina.
May-01-19  whiteshark: <sneaky pete> Right!

This is game #56 in <Alan McGowan's <Kurt Richter biography>>. It has been played in round 8 on July 17, 1929.

Richter is quoted: "A game which Black will always think back on with pleasure."

p.s. <Gejewe> I guess we both had the same idea, the same means, the same opportunity. Well, I'll leave my post standing anyway. ;)

p.p.s. and then delete the wrong one (first).
