Jonathan Sarfati: Really a Pirc by transposition, and a hard line for Black with the early castling. White's attack has an easier target.

True, Black should be ok after 6...Bxh6 7.Qxh6 e5. I think 8...a5 is almost a decisive error, Black's pawn storm is simply too slow. In this kind of position Black needs to play b4 and Qa5 quickly, maybe capture on h6 depending on what White does.

fredthebear: Either 6...0-0 or 6...BxBh6 is playable for Black, w/a small edge to White. 6...BxBh6 probably has a better reputation for Black.

The sneaky smart Sarfati opened w/the Sarratt Attack but was allowed to take space in the center, so with 4.e4 White transposed to a king pawn semi-open game - The 150 Attack against the (B07) Pirc Defense. This might help readers: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...
