Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-22-15  coolconundrum: Giri winning nice games on a regular basis this tourney... I can hardly believe it!
Sep-22-15  fisayo123: Now that he's become a full time pro, he's been on another level, and his rating shows that. Plus, having almost guaranteed qualification for the Candidates, he's playing with less pressure than others and is generally a superior player to Wojtaszek in almost every way.

Sokrates: Another convincing defeat of Wojtaszek. You are most likely right, <fisayo123>.

thegoodanarchist: But he recently got married, which was given as the explanation for other players dropping off in level of play. I guess not all wives erode their husbands' level of play :)

Giri paid his dues, just like MVL.

paavoh: During the game I thought, why not 14.- Nxe5 instead? The e pawn proved to be an important support for the King side attack.
Sep-23-15  Forager: <Sep-22-15 thegoodanarchist: I guess not all wives erode their husbands' level of play :)>

Let's not be hasty here. I heard from reliable sources that having a wife sucks ELO out of a GM.

pig: Nxe5 looses to f3, f4, f5! trapping the bishop.
