Feb-05-16  ninja warrior: how is there no comment on this fantastic game yet! mvl constantly amazes me with his tactical prowess... phenomenal play to distract on the queenside & switch back to the kingside bravo! :)
Feb-05-16  fisayo123: <ninja warrior> Indeed. Classic MVL.
Feb-05-16  Ayaend: 37...Re1!! Sublime max.

Sokrates: MVL exploited the cramped setup of Maze's rooks brilliantly. Great positional power play concluded by precise tactics. <Sublime max> indeed!

pilobolus: MVL is really a trapeze artist.
Feb-08-16  Mehem: <Ayaend> 37... Re1 looks great only in the context of 38.Ra4? 38.Nb2 would have given an equal position.
Feb-21-16  Ayaend: <Mehem> 38.Nb2-Bxf2 39.Qxf2-Re5

Yes the position is more equal but Black has a better control on the center and more active pieces.
