  HeMateMe: A rare KGA at a big tournament. I don't know where white went wrong, but he was never in this game.

  Gilmoy: <7.d5?> closes lines, snuffing White's attack. Thereafter, Black has no weakness at f7, and is simply a pawn up.

<13.Bd2> is a sad admission that White is even congested, biting on a <granite gambit pawn>.

It's the inherent weakness of <2.f4> :)

  perfidious: It seems odd that a move such as 6....Be6 scores well here, as it hardly looks natural. Whatever the merits of that move, as noted above, 7.d5 can hardly be right. Black could instead simply transpose to the main line of the Classical with 6....Nc6 7.c3 h6.
