Black's Q is very efficient, defending 3 things and attacking 2 others.

The threat must be simply 42..h3 queening, as 43.gxh3 Qg1+ mates at d1. Hence <41..Bh5> was a clearance for Q-sees-g1!

May-26-16  crwynn: Well ...h3 is threatened on the final position, but the line which convinced white to resign must be 42.kf1 (g2 is hanging) qg4 43.qd2/c2 (mate on d1 & e2 must be stopped) h3 44.gh qxh3+ 45.kg1 bf3 with mate to follow.
