Nov-30-16  Llera: Are there any more tiebreaks now??
Nov-30-16  Absentee: <HeMateMe: with queens off the board, shouldn't the side with the better pawn structure play on a bit?>

Not with 2 minutes on the clock and 10 second increments.

Nov-30-16  PJs Studio: Round 2 starts... 3:30? 3:15?

  technical draw: 10 minutes break.
Nov-30-16  capafan: How much time between games?
Nov-30-16  ForkedAgain: 10 minutes to make another cocktail...

Domdaniel: <Llera> All tiebreak games are today. Ten minutes between rapids.
Nov-30-16  Lighthorse: 10 minute breaks between games.
Nov-30-16  savagerules: At least Giri, Leko, Svidler, Ulf Anderssen and the late Tigran Petrosian are enjoying this match.
Nov-30-16  PJs Studio: It would've been exhausting for Carlsen to try and make Karjakin flag from this position. Too little play.

technical draw: Happy Birthday to Magnus and Fressinet.
Nov-30-16  Absentee: <Knight13: <10 minute breaks between games.> What if someone needs to use the bathroom for more than 10 minutes?>

Then they'd better use those 10 minutes to rush to a store and buy a pack of diapers.

Nov-30-16  Rama: It is time for Sergei to sweat. He can't beat Magnus unless M overextends himself (Game 8) which he is not going to do ever again if he can help it. Play solid is all he can do but we all know what awaits.

Check It Out: 10 minutes between games, I think
Nov-30-16  vonKrolock: After this first draw it seems that Carsen is in good shape with his fast moves and in fine mood with his jolly experiments - lets see if Karjakin keep his icy and iron defensive form in the second rapid
Nov-30-16  PJs Studio: Great question. Is there a provision for a pause if one of the players has to drop a deuce?
Nov-30-16  varishnakov: I believe Carlsen will win his two games with the white pieces.

harrylime: Why are Wc matches now ONLY 12 games ??

I don't get it ?

It's not as if this match has had mega publicity ! lol

Nov-30-16  PJs Studio: Magnus to play 1.Nf3 (?)
Nov-30-16  Atking: As most of this match Karjakin playing "negativechess" waiting Carlsen overreach himself or exchange most pieces even with White when tension arises.

Everybodychessnow: move 19 f takes e6 is an inaccuracy by carlsen, a better move was queen takes e6 then white can retreat his bishop to d2. Black can then play either d5 or bishop f8. If bishop f8 play can continue like this: 21.c4...knight d7 22. Knight f1... knight d4 23. Queen d1... f5 24. Knight e3... f takes e4 25. D takes e4... kight f6 26. Knight d5
