May-13-17  Dirkster: Nice game by Nepo! Was there a better defense for White after Black's 39...a5 and 40...a4? I don't have a search engine, so... (I know - how do I survive???)

  thegoodanarchist: It wasn't Hammer time.

White got mated OTB!

Gregor Samsa Mendel: Somehow, I too have managed to survive without an engine.

<It wasn't Hammer time.> More like time to get hammered.

What immediately looked wrong to me was when white removed the rook from the h-file with 30 Rhe1. Why not, say, 30 f4 intending 31 Qh2?

HeMateMe: nice technique, how Nepo was able to activate his queenside pawns and allow no targets for white's LSB.

Sokrates: Hammer opened all corridors for Nepo's troops making the outcome inevitable.
