Aug-10-17  Marmot PFL: Could have been an interesting game, 16...Qxg2!?
Aug-10-17  studentt: 16...Qxg2?? 17.e4! and Black need to resign.

Actually the computer strongly prefers _black_ after 16...Qxg2 17.e4 O-O!!

Stockfish shows a lot of different and complex lines, but they mostly seem to revolve around the white king being stuck in the middle, along with the general disharmony of the white pieces. There are various piece sacs for black that are working here; for example an attack along the open d and e files is possible after 18.exf5 exf5.

Aug-11-17  drleper: Ben Finegold does some analysis on 16...Qxg2 here: https://youtu.be/nkUVKGNh6Cw?t=8m25s
Aug-11-17  Ulhumbrus: If 9...Bf5 can be answered with 10 Qb3, two alternatives are 9...0-0 at once and 9...e5 threatening 10...e4
Aug-11-17  Petrosianic: <studentt: 16...Qxg2?? 17.e4! and Black need to resign.>

That's what I was thinking, but the more I look at it, the more I'm not sure.

17. e4 O-O 18. Bxc6 Rxc6 19. Qxc6 g4, and this is kind of dicey for White between the pin on the e pawn and the g pawn threatening to undermine the Rook's Protection.

20. Rf1 g3 21. Nd1 Bg4, and Black isn't ready to resign just yet. White may have to tread pretty cautiously here.
