It's funny because when I looked at the final position, I thought white has 2 mates in 1 (Qh7# or Nf7#) and 1 mate in 2 (Qxh6+, which you mentioned). That seemed like a lot, but one of them was left over from the previous move. Anyway, Qg6 worked, as you said.

Aha, thanks, I overlooked Qd8+.
