Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-17-18  Caissanist: In a poorly played game, Hou blunders away the exchange, Svidler doesn't see it, then Hou moves too slowly in a drawn position and ultimately blunders away the game for good in time pressure. Maybe her nerves just aren't strong enough to be successful at this level?
Jan-17-18  morfishine: <Caissanist> On your comment: <... Maybe her nerves just aren't strong enough to be successful at this level?> I think its more a matter of whats required preparation-wise for a tournament like this. Some players are great at matches but only ok at tournaments & vice versa

Jan-18-18  mrfuddington: She has performed decently here in the the past. I think she's just not in form.
Jan-20-18  tonsillolith: <22. Nc8> looks good, heading toward b6.
