Mar-03-18  Pasker: I don't understand all the tactics behind Anand's play but all I see is Dubov giving away pawns trying to stop some disaster but he got crushed anyway. Mighty knights of mighty Vishy take over the game in the end.
Mar-04-18  Ulhumbrus: The course of the game suggests that Anand gains a good result by handling the Sicilian Rossolimo like a reversed Nimzoindian defence, and Carlsen may have handled it successfully in this way as well.
Mar-04-18  sudoplatov: Black's Bishops lack scope due to the doubled Pawns. Anand exploits this. There are some similar games by Lasker and Chigorin from the elder days.
Mar-04-18  ChessHigherCat: I get the impression that Anand had already examined the hell out of that variation years ago and demonstrated to Dubov why it wasn't any good: Well, here you have these doubled pawns, and the bad bishop, and the exposed king, and...
