Jonathan Sarfati: Despite Black's win, he was practically lost after the opening, if White had just played 6.0-0. The Centre Game is not the best for White, so playing it with Black tempo down is folly.

For example, 6...a6 7.♖e1 f6 8.♗f1 ♘c6 9.d4 and ♗lack is in trouble. Stockfish 14.1 finds an even stronger line, sacrificing a piece to open the centre: 8.d4! axb5 9.dxe5 f5 10.♘d4 ♕c4 11.e6 ♗c6 12.♗g5 ♘a6 13.e7 ♘xe7 14.♘xf5 (+7).
