Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-21-19  Hokey pokey: I bet 20.c4 shook Shak!
Jan-21-19  SandyJames: GOTD pun - C4 yourself.
Jan-21-19  WDenayer: It's easy to criticise and I'm sure this move is backed up by computer analysis, but taking back with the f-pawn looks awful to me. It ruins Black's position and the half-open f- file never does anything for black, the contrary is true. Great game by Anand.
Jan-21-19  Sularus: explosive c4!

jith1207: C4 Yourself pun is already used for a great Yasser Seirawan game, from 70s I think.

Penguincw: 21.Rxd5 came as more of a shocker to me.

Yes. Per <PB>, it's this: Seirawan vs Browne, 1979.

Jan-22-19  Ulhumbrus: The pawn advance 20 c4 can be said to be based on the resource of Rxd5, as after 20...Rxc4 the black rook becomes a potential target on c4 for a fork delivered from d5

Breunor: This game is in Soltis' column today. He says black lost the initiative by missing 18 Nh4.

Stockfish agrees:

1) -0.21 (22 ply) 18...Nh4 19.Nfd4 g5 20.g3 Ng6 21.Qe2 b6 22.h3 Ne7 23.c3 Nf5 24.Nxf5 Rxf5 25.Nd4 Rf8 26.Re3 Rc4 27.Qa2 h6 28.Qa3 Qc8 29.Rf1 Qe8 30.Re2 Rc5 31.f4 Qg6 32.fxg5

But he then falls behind by missing it:

After 18 h5:

1) +0.46 (22 ply) 19.h3 Qc7 20.c4 Qxc4 21.Nxa5 Qc7 22.Nb3 Nh4 23.Rc1 Nxf3+ 24.Rxf3 Qxe5 25.Rxf8+ Rxf8 26.Nc5 Bc8 27.Qd2 h6 28.a5 Qd6 29.b6 e5 30.f3 Re8 31.Ne4 Qe6 32.Ng3 e4 33.fxe4 dxe4 34.Rc7 Qe5
