An Englishman: Good Evening: Interesting struggle, esp. after Black secured the 2 Knights vs. Rook. Haven't seen much of the C97-99 variations recently.

perfidious: After undergoing a long fallow spell, in my opinion due in part to such debacles as Geller-Smyslov, Palma 1970, as well as various forms of the Sicilian exploding in popularity, the Chigorin indeed went into the shades for a number of years, supplanted by such subvariations as Breyer's 9....Nb8 when Black girded his loins for battle with the Closed form of the Spanish Torture.

ARE YOU ASSUMING H** GENDER?

Nov-17-19  Swedish Logician: Winston Churchill, on the platform, when heckled by a suffragette about his use of the generic "he", where she wanted "he or she", in the end gave the reply: "Madam, it has been the opinion of grammarians through the ages that male embraces female."
