  whiteshark: <19.Nd6> looks strong. If ...Qxb2 20.Qa7 Bd7 21.Ne4 Bb5
Apr-07-19  BOSTER: Black can't take b2 pawn because Rb1.
Apr-07-19  ChessHigherCat: Rxb7 solves all black's problems, nicht wahr?
Apr-07-19  ChessHigherCat: Black's threatening Rb4, of course

offramp: Karjakin is playing really well in this tournament.

Could he once again ascend Rum-Doodle and challenge Carlsen?

I doubt he would want to.

Apr-07-19  BOSTER: Black is pawn up maybe only with knight vs bishop.
Apr-07-19  BOSTER: Pawn b4 will play active role, black even can sacr rook for the bishop.

White to play.

Wee pitfall here. 27.Rb1 Bc3(?) 28.Bc7 Ra8 29.BxN RxB 30.Nxc3 and Black cannot take on c3 with the b-pawn because of the back rank mate.

Apr-07-19  ChessHigherCat: Karjakin has his beady eyes fixed on <Offramp> as though he has now figured out who put the whoopie cushion on his chair.

Think the b3 pawn is about to be taken.

Apr-07-19  ChessHigherCat: Rb3 and car-jacking has plenty of nuttin
Apr-07-19  BOSTER: When pawns on the one side of the board, knight feels very comfortable.
Apr-07-19  BOSTER: Black can't win this game..
Apr-07-19  ChessHigherCat: Black's position is more supine than sublime

I am going to award it 2/10 for entertainment value.

How much is that on the autism spectrum?

Apr-07-19  fabelhaft: ”he is a very strong player with future”

He sure has a future, but he is 34 years old and was #13 thirteen years ago. At the moment he is just outside the top 20, and I doubt he ever will get close to the top ten.

Pedro Fernandez: You're right <fabelhaft>, and I knew that. However in the time being he seems like Phoenix.

An Englishman: Good Evening: What didn't happen seems more interesting than what did. Why didn't Black grab the e-pawn with 11...Nxe5? Why didn't Black take the Knight on move 17? Looks like the players spent more time avoiding traps and complications than improving their own positions.
